MV Library/Lounge Addition, Study II

LOCATION

NOTES

The Mid-century Modern look is still coveted by design aficionados everywhere. However, a mid-century modern construction of the same era can appear outdated. The point of the addition is not only to provide updated amenities for the residential community, but also to help uplift and bring the iconic style into this new century. It has the rectangular glass box look with exposed steel structure, monumental entry canopy and address signage, double height entry foyer, and open concept floor plan to aid community interactions. There is nothing obtrusive about this design. It's meant to integrate in respect to the existing while welcoming the new.
